In this masterclass I will guide you step by step through the creation of the painted base of a peacock in my style, focusing on the watercolor creative process.
We will start from one of my favorite subjects: the peacock. Thanks to its fluid shapes, the subtle color transitions of its plumage, and the richness of its textures, this subject is perfect for exploring my watercolor working method and discovering new techniques beyond the foundations introduced in the Line & Color masterclass.
Throughout the course we will work together from start to finish on the painted part of the artwork: from preparing the drawing to building the different layers of color, exploring the way I use watercolor to create movement, depth, and a painted base that can interact harmoniously with the ink drawing that will follow.
The peacock is a particularly interesting subject because it allows us to work on color transitions, feather textures, and the balance between light and shadow, offering a perfect opportunity to deepen some key aspects of my painting style.

As in all my masterclasses, I will share not only the technical aspects of my process, but also my mental approach to painting.
For me, working with watercolor is an immersive process that requires attention and sensitivity, while still leaving space for intuition and creative freedom.
This masterclass is designed as a next step after the Line & Color masterclass, and together with the Siamese fighting fish masterclasses it represents an intermediate stage for exploring my artistic style.
By the end of the masterclass you will have created the complete watercolor base of the peacock and gained new tools to work with watercolor in my style.
