In this second masterclass we will complete the artwork by focusing on the ink drawing and the final details.
We will continue the work started in the watercolor phase and move forward with the ink drawing using fineliners, hatching, lines, and patterns to define the figure, create volume, and add depth to the image. The Siamese fighting fish, with its flowing fins and the articulated surfaces of its body, is a perfect subject for exploring my approach to ink drawing and for deepening the use of line as an expressive element.
Throughout the course we will work together step by step until the artwork is complete, adding textures, graphic details, and some additional materials that I use in the final stages of my work.

Irene Meniconi
